KENYA will be represented by 20-year-old Kevin Owiti – Ky Mo at the 2016 edition of Mr World competition in Southport, England on 19th July. 5’10”-tall Ky Mo is a student at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, studying business management. Born and raised in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. He speak fluent English, Swahili, Luo and struggle a bit with his French. He’s a Professional model, renowned public and motivational speaker who loves to play Football, Basketball, Athletics(sprint), Rugby, Kickboxing and recite a bit of Spoken-word during his free time.

Ky Mo’s personal achievements includes: Mr. World Kenya 2016, Mr. World Kenya Siaya County 2016, Mr. Catholic University of Eastern Africa 2014/2015, Mr. Laiser Hill First runners up 2011, Best athlete in Vienna College 2013.


When asked to describe his own personality this is what he says, “I love variety, I am passionate, growth oriented, I love to create and manifest. I like to explore the unknown, broaden my thirst for knowledge about anything and everything. A man on a serious mission to find his path in life, focused and a self driven enthusiast. I am greatness no better or worse than any one else. I stand with integrity, and I have good ethics. The grand finale of Mr World 2016 will take place on Tuesday 19th of July in the Floral Hall at the Southport Theatre Convention Centre (STCC), with preliminary events taking place in the local area in the 10 days leading up to the final!
