1) First of all, many congratulations to you, Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about you?
Hello amazing soul reading this, my name is Branden Alaen, I’m 32 years old, Cuban American with the heart of a child combined with soul of elder. I quit my steady paycheck job in 2017 to chase my dreams and I’m now currently living in the Philippines working for myself as a Brand Consultant, Accountability Growth Coach for Executives, Content Creator, Commercial Model, Key Note Speaker, & Supplement Distributor for USANA. Along with recently becoming a Recording Artist, working on my first album.
2) What are your next projects ?
I have several projects in mind. First one is to expand my FB group “Kings” Male Empowerment Fitness & Success Group where I teach men workouts, styling, and success tips.
We currently have over 600 members from over 50 countries and the objective is to turn it into live events for men across the globe. Aside from that I’m working on creating a fashion line for men. Along with starting my own non profit organization for homeless and abandoned children in Manila. As well as, continue working on my recording album.
3) If you are elected “Mister International 2023”, what will be your first action ?
To give thanks to to my Divine Creator for the still small voice that told me to keep going. Then I will sit with the Organizers to discuss t.heir vision for the organization and get my calendar ready to put in all the necessary work to leave a legacy in the Male Pageant Industry. I also would love to visit Tondo, whats considered the slums of Manila and go as the winner with my sash and hang out with kids that are homeless and speak into them.
4) Mister International’s slogan is “Distinctly Handsome, Inspiring the Next Generation”. Do you support a cause?
I have a photoshoot collaboration with a fashion designer that’s working on a fashion for psychiatric mental health project as soon as I get back from this competition. I’m also currently part of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where we work on restoring the Philippines through humanitarian projects such as bringing supplies and food to schools. I also want to start my own organization “Tito Branden Foundation” where I will gather funds from across the globe to build a safe place physically & mentally for abandoned children in Manila and eventually across the globe.
5) What is your favorite song or music video?
Since I’m a singer, I would have to say my favorite songs are the ones that I can sing to crowds such as “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz and “Yellow” by Cold Play. These two feel good songs put me in a better mood when I sing them and I see the crowds face cheer up when they hear them. I also have my two songs on Spotify “ Worth The Wait” & “Life Abundantly” that I put my heart and soul into.
6 ) What is your favorite food?
Pizza hahah, but during competitions chicken..
7) What is your favorite animal ?
Tiger & Lion it’s a Tie. The roar of a lion can be heard miles away. The roar of a tiger can paralyze its opponent. Having powerful roar (voice) is essential when it comes to being a leader, advocate, and speaker.
8) What is your favorite movie ?
Lion King; the story of being a king yet settling for a life without purpose or meaning really is a profound message for all who have been eating bugs instead of stepping into their purpose on “Pride Rock.”
9) What is your favorite color ?
If we are playing a board game, I always choose the green pawn. If it’s clothes I like black, white, and blue.
10) Name your favorite book ?
“The Magic of Thinking Big” & the Book of Proverbs from King Solomon. These two books have been instrumental to my success.
11) Name your favorite magazine ?
Men’s Health & GQ , my dream is to be featured on these magazines sharing tips to men one day.
12) Who is your favorite celebrity ?
Pia Wurtzbach, I love how she uses her platform to impact mental health and a healthy lifestyle along with being a fashion legend. Also, Mariano Di Vaio the face of Dolce & Gabana who has his own fashion line and hair products as well.
13) What’s your special message to your fans and our fellow readers?
You were born with a grand purpose way beyond your own understanding. You won’t fully understand “why on Earth you are here” until you start writing out a list of the desires of your heart and begin to pursue them and allow them to manifest. Those desires chose you, before you could choose them. So write the vision for your life and fly, for you have wings ready to take you to soar to new heights. I promise you there is much more in store for you than to live, breathe, work for a paycheck and die.
