1) First of all, many congratulations to you , Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about you?
I am Mike Mohan Francisco, born in Naga City, Camarines Sur and grew up in Concepcion, Handong Libmanan, also in Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. I grew up with my grandparents. I am a graduate of BS Tourism degree from the Philippine Christian University, a fitness enthusiast and a ramp and commercial model. I am 31 yrs old. I Love to commune with Nature, it Calms my mind and I was able to do some self-reflection after my gym workout I listen to relaxing music and do some meditation.
◦ 2) What are your next projects ?
I am still lining up projects such as a possible collaboration with the Department of Tourism to promote Inclusive Tourism and some tie ups with local government units such as Batanes, Camarines Sur and Albany for the promotion of tourist sites in these areas, but nothing definite yet. Just plans that I can pursue after the pageant.
◦ 3) If you are elected “Mister Tourism world 2022”, what will be your first action ?
My first action is to use my platform to promote Inclusive Tourism, which is the cause I fully support. Everyone has a place in the tourism industry. I will promote it on social media and mainstream media such as tv and radio when I have the opportunity.
◦ 4) Mister Tourism World ’s slogan is “Building a better World”. Do you support a cause?
I support the cause for Inclusive Tourism which the Department of Tourism of the Philippines or the DOT, is promoting. Inclusive tourism ensures access for all to the different tourism sites, including for persons with disability and the elderly. It also ensures that everyone can participate in tourism activities and earn from them. The deaf and mute and the elderly but active people can still be employed. I support tourism that gives opportunities for everyone to travel and enjoy life and also earn and live well, regardless of who or what they are. I believe this will help build a better world.
◦ 5) What is your favorite song or music video?
I like to listen to meditation music, christian songs and any old song. It is very calming and relaxing listening to these kinds of music.
◦ 6 ) What is your favorite food?
I like to eat healthy food like steamed fish and chicken, sweet potato, Camote tops, kangkong, broccoli, malunggay. Boiled egg, and of course, any Filipino Food.
◦ 7) What is your favorite animal?
Cats are my companions at home, but I also Love Dogs, Pigeons, and Roosters. In fact any pet in this World is ok with me.
◦ 8) What is your favorite movie ?
My Favorite movie when I was Young was Titanic. Now I like any Series movie especially Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones.
◦ 9) What is your favorite color ?
Red, Blue, Green, black and white are my Favorite colors. That’s like half of the rainbow.
◦ 10) Name your favorite book ?
I like to Read Paulo Coelho’s books especially “The Achemist”. I also love to read thr Holy Bible, Quran, any book about God, because I want to understand the values and beliefs of other religions. I believe it will really Help build Cultural understanding and peace among nations.
◦ 11) Name your favorite magazine ?
I like to Read Men’s Health Magazine, Manila Bulletin Magazine, Cook Magazine, Travel Guide Magazine, Philippine Primer magazine.
◦ 12) Who is your favorite celebrity ?
I have two Celebrities or personalities that I like the most. The First one is Lebron James, an NBA superstar who opened a School that provides free meals, bikes and College tuition fee to many students. He is generous with his material Blessings. Number 2 is Manny Pacquiao a Filipino professional boxer, who became world-famous for winning boxing titles in more weight classes than any other boxer in history. He Over the years, he’s directed a large chunk of his boxing fortune toward hundreds of student scholarships, farming equipment in poor areas, churches, hospitals, disaster relief, environmental causes, and numerous international charities. In recent years, he’s also become a major figurehead in the fight against human trafficking, using his stature, political power, and finances to help combat the practice in the Philippines. He is a senator in the Philippine Senate.
◦ 13) What’s your special message to your fans and our fellow readers?
My Message to everyone is that we have to be kind to everyone because life is a difficult journey, and we have to support one another. Kindness is Free and everyone can afford it. One of my favorite quotes in the Bible is ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘ Thank you!🙏❤️
