23-year-old Marlon Stiven Polo Anaya of Panama defeated 29 other contestants from around the world and was named Men Universe Model 2016 during the finals held at IFA Villas Bavaro Resort & Spa on 15th July in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Marlon is a professional model, nutritionist, and works in a TV show in Panama.
Huge favorite Luis Baez of Venezuela adjudged as first runner-up while host country delegate Victor Manuel Alcantara finished as 2nd runner-up. The rest of the top 6 finalists are: Puerto Rico’s Michael Cheverez (third runner-up), Colombia’s Oswaldo Ramos (4th runner-up) and Poland’s Adrian Krzyzansk (5th runner-up).
The rest of top 12 semifinalists are: Curacao’s Joshua Martin, Peru’s Israel Boucher, Argentina’s Jaime Alfredo Parada, Belgium’s Hamidoe Galsene, France’ Julien Celette and Nicaragua’s Yader Jarquin.
