Daniel Rodriguez, THE NEWLY CROWNED Mister International Spain OPENLY ADMITS HE’S GAY
Last weekend the Tinerfeño Daniel Rodriguez was elected Mister International Spain 2016 at a gala held in Playa de Aro, Girona. The Canary model is expected to represent his country at Mister International 2016. At 23 his victory was overwhelming against the 47 other candidates from all over Spain with the dream of getting the long-awaited victory. A sports enthusiast but with the desire to study acting. Daniel Rodriguez is now news not only for his new title but because he’s the first Mister International Spain who confessed and just admitted to being a homosexual, a fact that the organizers and partners of the event didn’t know and that breaks the mold in the history of this contest.
I don’t know if there is any rule prohibiting homosexuals to participate in international competitions? I say this because last year, its predecessor Alejandro Nieto, Mister International Spain 2015 could not stand to have a child. Being a gay doesn’t violate any law and it’s totally a discrimination against homosexuals if the International organization will not allow him to compete. Everyone should be treated fairly no matter what your sexual orientation is.
