THE ALLURING SAM AJDANI IS MISTER WORLD PHILIPPINES 2016
PHILIPPINES’ best bet Sam Ajdani will represent the ‘Pearl of the Orient Seas’ at the 2016 edition of Mr World which will be held on 19th July 2016 in Southport, England. ALV Events International headed by Mr. Arnold Vegafria is the official local franchise holder of the prestigious international pageant for male. Sam is a 26 year-old model, 6’3″-tall, with Filipino-Persian descent.
Sam grew up in Iran and lived there until he was 14, when his family decided to move to the Philippines and live in Laguna. He took up Information Technology at the University of the East Manila, and went on to take his Master’s Degree in Information Management from the same school. He is one thesis short of obtaining that degree.
Family, fitness and friends are important to Sam, and his aspirations are to start his own business, potentially in the fitness industry. His proudest moment was getting a feature in Men’s Health USA & Philippines. His favourite music genres are Hip Hop and pop.

Philippines highest placement at Mr. World came in 2012 when Andrew Wolff won as 1st runner-up to Francisco Escobar of Colombia, which was held at the Kent County Showground, Kent, England, on November 24, 2012. The grand finale of Mr World 2016 will take place on Tuesday 19th of July in the Floral Hall at the Southport Theatre Convention Centre (STCC), with preliminary events taking place in the local area in the 10 days leading up to the final!
