Fernando Alberto ALVAREZ SOTO is Mr World Puerto Rico 2016 and will represent the country at Mr World 2016 which will be held in Southport, England from 8th-20th July 2016. Finals will take place on 19th July. Fernando Alvarez is 21 years old and stands 6 feet tall. He represented Puerto Rico in Mister International 2015 and finished in the top 10.
Fernando is an Accounting student from Coamo, central Puerto Rico. Accounting is his plan, but acting is his dream and he is chasing both options, with acting lessons complimenting his studies. Staying fit is important to Fernando, who enjoys basketball, volleyball and spending the day at the beach. A skilled dancer, his styles include Salsa and Merengue and his musical tastes range from latino to hip hop.

The grand finale of Mr World 2016 will take place on Tuesday 19th of July in the Floral Hall at the Southport Theatre Convention Centre (STCC), with preliminary events taking place in the local area in the 10 days leading up to the final!
