A press release issued by Miss Venezuela Org. confirming that Venezuela wont be able to participate in the world’s biggest and prestigious competition for men – Mr. World 2016.

On Friday, July 1st, the Miss Venezuela Organization issued the following statement:

Due to the difficulty in processing an application to obtain foreign currency for the participation of our winners in international events and the high costs that this proccess implies, our organization has been forced to take some strict measures – even if they are not of our satisfaction -.

It is why we officially inform that Venezuela will not send a representative to the Mister World 2016 competition, a situation that has been already informed to Miss World and its president Mrs. Julia Morley, with whom we maintain an excellent relationship.

Renato Barabino, the recently elected Mister Venezuela 2016, will continue his training in acting, hosting and oratory so he can be prepared for the commitments that he has with Venevision, as part of the Portadas show as well as other events that we have lined for him.

Issued in Caracas (Venezuela) on July 1st, 2016.
