Lakshya Singh from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh won Rubaru Mr India Tourism World 2019 title at the recently concluded Rubaru Mr India 2019 pageant. The event took place on April 30, 2019 at Hotel Sea Princess in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This was the sixteenth edition of the pageant. The event was organized by Rubaru Group. Winning the Rubaru Mr India Tourism World 2019 title bestowed Lakshya with the golden opportunity of representing India at the upcoming edition of international modelling competition, Mister Tourism World to take place in Malta.
Mister Tourism World is one of the biggest and most well-established international tourism pageants in the world. The pageant is an annual event and its motto is ‘charmingly cultured’. Since the pageant’s inception, it has happened in different nations across the globe like the Philippines, Myanmar and Italy. The upcoming edition of the pageant will take place in the beautiful country of Malta. The said international pageant is owned by Mister Tourism World Organization based in the United Kingdom.
Lakshya belongs to the city of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He holds bachelor’s degree in engineering and a post graduate diploma in banking and finance. He is a bank manager by profession and also a part-time model. This highly qualified 26 year-old very good-looking hombre stands 6 ft tall and has black hair and black eyes. This year 38 candidates competed for the title of Rubaru Mr India. At the pageant, the candidates were judged on various parameters like confidence, personality, looks, fitness, nature, communication skills, on and off stage presentation, on and off camera presentation, runway skills and many more. The candidates took part in different segments of the pageant that included individual interviews, formal wear round, ethnic wear round and health and fitness round. The final judgement was made taking under consideration the performances of the candidates during all these preliminary events and the overall performance of each candidate during and prior to the finale.
The Rubaru Mister India competition is India’s biggest and oldest surviving annual pageant and model search event for men. It was created by Rubaru Group, led by its founder and president, Sandeep Kumar, in the year 2004 in the Indian state of Haryana. Pankaj Kharbada is the vice president of the organization. The pageant is one of the most celebrated annual male pageants in Asia. The pageant is famous for its very extravagant production value and for producing winners who are exceptionally handsome and good-looking. It is also known as the ‘goldmine of handsome faces’ in India. Since its inception in the year 2004, the pageant has produced various Mister India winners who have excelled in different fields like arts, fashion, showbiz, television, theatre, medicine, technology and politics etc. and have also brought laurels and pride to India on multiple occasions.
