Shubham Chauhan hailing from New Delhi was elected the new Rubaru Mr North India at the annual Rubaru Mr India 2019 pageant concluded on April 30, 2019 at Hotel Sea Princess in the city of dreams, Mumbai. This was the sixteenth (16th) edition of the Rubaru Mr India pageant. The event was organized by Rubaru Group. Apart from winning this prestigious title, Shubham also won the special award for Best Fashion Model 2019 at the said pageant. He was awarded by last year’s winner, Rubaru Mr India 2018, Ashwani Neeraj.
Shubham is currently based in Mumbai and is a model by profession. He stands 6 ft and 1 inch tall and has black hair and light brown eyes. This very dashing 22-year-old model is a proud alumnus of Hansraj College. He was one of the crowd favourite candidates at this year’s Rubaru Mr India pageant. At the pageant, he got noticed for his very charming and charismatic persona, his extremely captivating looks and his very tall and perfectly well-built physique. He was one of the most superficially strong and attractive candidates at the pageant. His very winsome and alluring face and striking looks were two of his greatest strengths at the pageant. Rubaru Mr India pageant is often cited as the ‘goldmine of handsome faces’ in India for producing extremely handsome and good-looking male models and looking at this stunningly magnificent hombre made it even clearer why it is said so. Shubham is also an avid traveller and loves to explore new places. He is a fitness enthusiast and martial artist. His other hobbies include car racing, drag racing and playing basketball and volleyball,
This year 38 candidates competed for the title of Rubaru Mr India 2019. At the pageant, the candidates were judged on various parameters like confidence, personality, looks, fitness, nature, communication skills, on and off stage presentation, on and off camera presentation, runway skills and many more. The candidates took part in different segments of the pageant that included individual interviews, formal wear round, ethnic wear round and health and fitness round. The final judgement was made taking under consideration the performances of the candidates during all these preliminary events and the overall performance of each candidate during and prior to the finale.
Rubaru Mr India pageant is regarded is India’s biggest and longest running annual pageant for men. The pageant was established by Sandeep Kumar, the founder and president of Rubaru Group in the year 2004.Pankaj Kharbanda from Mumbai is the current vice president of the pageant. Rubaru Mr India pageant holds the record of being associated with maximum of international modelling organizations and pageants in India. Since the pageant’s inception in the year 2004, it has sent India’s representatives to more than 15 different international modelling competitions for men across the globe.
