1) First of all, many congratulations to you, Can you introduce and tell us a little about you?
Hello! My name is Kesavan. You can also call me Kes or K7. As a self made entrepreneur and a self taught image stylist and make up artist, diving into the pageantry world has been an exciting journey thus far.
With my diverse background in the hotel industry, connecting with people from all walks of life brought me a unique perspective to my endeavors.
Embracing self love and advocating for the prioritization of mental health is a cornerstone of my philosophy. I firmly believe that nurturing our well being should stand out as a top priority in every individual’s life journey.
2) What are your next projects?
Embarking on a journey (writing a book) to articulate my unique perspective on self love and life has long been a contemplation. While I haven’t set a specific deadline, I trust that this personal goal will naturally unfold in due time.
3) If you are elected “Mister Tourism World 2023”, what will be your first action?
Upon achieving this milestone, my FIRST action would be to head home and extend invitations for a celebratory gathering. It’s a moment to express gratitude to my family, close friends and the dedicated supporters who have been unwavering since the inception of my journey. A reception stands as a fitting tribute to those who have played a significant role in my life and cause.
4) Mister Tourism World ’s slogan is “Building a better World”. Do you support a cause?
Wholeheartedly dedicated to advocating for mental health, particularly among men, I draw from personal experiences navigating various stages of therapy. As an advocate, I emphasize the profound significance of this cause.
Coincidentally, in August 2023, the local newspaper, Straits Times, highlighted a pertinent issue: “More Men Seeking Help for Mental Health issues, but Stigma Still a Concern for some.” The stigma revolves around societal perceptions linking emotional expression in men to weakness. Leveraging my power, influence, and voice, I aspire to educate individuals that displaying emotions is not a sign of weakness; rather, it showcases strength, demonstrating an ability to wear one’s heart on their sleeves.
I hope to join forces with @mental_act_sg some day to be an inspiration and the voice for many individuals who want to be heard.
“Building a better world” begins with me recognizing that I can only contribute to this endeavor when I prioritize and maintain my mental health.

6) What is your favourite food?
I’m a South Indian and I’m a sucker for home cooked Indian food. *Basmati Rice, Sambar, Tau Sambal & Appalam**drools*
This meal comprises aromatic Basmati rice paired with sambar, a flavourful lentil based stew. The addition of Tau sambal provides a spicy and tangy kick, while appalam, a crispy lentil based flatbread, completes the delicious combination. Simple yet Fulfilling!
7) What is your favorite animal ?
The wolf holds a special place as my favorite animal. The wolf’s symbolic representation of freedom and resilience also resonates with me on a personal level. It’s my spirit animal and is permanently etched around my left arm as a meaningful tattoo, symbolizing its significance in my life.
8) What is your favorite movie ?
The Devil Wears Prada.
It’s primarily notable because of Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Miranda Priestly, the career-driven and formidable character often referred to as the dragon lady.
9) What is your favorite color ?
Ultramarine Blue.

The title of the book says it all!
11) Name your favorite magazine.
Not a huge fan of magazines lately as I’m into books but I remember being obsessed with “STYLE” magazine many years back!
12) Who is your favorite celebrity ?
Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian has crafted her own personal brand and consistently represents herself in a way that aligns with her brand. Not only is she an influential, successful entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian has also displayed the power of resilience. She has faced criticism and controversies throughout her career but that did not stop her from continuing to reinvent herself and maintain her influence.
The day I meet Kim Kardashian will be the day you all can address me as “Kes Kardashian”. *chuckles*
