In September next month, Andrea Biondo will hand over the title to his successor. In Gentlemen of the Philippines 1st edition which was held on July 2016 of last year, Fi-Com Italy gained two titles (Mister Teen International courtesy of Mark Joshua Marquez of North Italy and Gentlemen of the Philippines 2016 won by Andrea Biondo of South Italy) and a runner-up finish in international male competition (Andrea Biondo in Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 in Indonesia). Undoubtedly, contenders from the Filipino Community abroad particularly Italy is one, if not the strongest in Gentlemen of the Philippines pageant.
This year, another strong contender representing South Italy is Mister Bachelor 2017 grand winner JJ Olano. He is Italy’s flag bearer and will vie for a back-to-back title for Gentlemen of the Philippines 2017. This 20-year-old Computer Technology graduate at Instituto Tecnico Molinari is definitely a competitive and could be a deserving Philippine delegate either in Mister Model International or Mister Universal Ambassador though i prefer the latter for him. He comes from Milan, Italy with a perfect height of 6’3″-tall. Currently he’s now in Malvar, Batangas his parents hometown.
