Rubaru Mr India International 2017, Darasing Khurana has recently been appointed as the brand ambassador for NGO, Datri. The Datri is a non-profit organization. It is India’s largest blood stem donors registry that has facilitated several blood stem transplantations and saved several live through unrelated donors. Darasing Khurana shared the news via his official social media accounts on October 26, 2017.
What is Dartri?
Datri is a non-profit organization in India. It was founded in the year 2009 with a mission to save lives of those suffering from life threatening blood disorders. A blood stem cell transplant can save the lives of such patients. Datri is working towards creating a wide and diverse database of potential blood stem cell donors that can be accessed by any patient, living anywhere in the world, in need of a blood stem cell transplant.
This young Indian gentleman aims to create awareness regarding this serious issue and wants to encourage people to come forward and join hands with Datri, so that every patient gets a willing donor. Darasing took to social media and quoted, “Let us all collectively join hands with Datri and make sure to reach a stage where every patient gets a willing donor”.
Darasing Khurana is the winner of India’s biggest and oldest surviving annual male pageant, the Rubaru Mr India pageant. He won the title on Rubaru Mr India International 2017 on August 27, 2017 in Mumbai. He is often cited as one of the most handsome Mr India winners the nation has ever produced. He is a professional model, entrepreneur and fashion consultant. This very good-looking gentleman holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and is also one of the most qualified men in the Indian fashion and pageant industry.
In coming months Darasing Khurana will also be seen representing India at the world’s biggest international male pageant, the Mister International pageant in Myanmar.
